Alastair MackenzieI initially saw Dean twice a week for eight weeks. After that, I have continued seeing him to maintain my results and continue to build my fitness even further. Dean devised a bespoke programme for me to meet my goals. I worked out 4 days per week: twice with him and twice by myself. This was broken up into two different weights sessions and two different HIIT sessions. This also changed over time with the introduction of variations on the initial workouts as well as gymnastics rings training - tough but great fun! I had previously been under the misconception that I shouldn't do any cardio if I wanted to increase muscle mass and reduce body fat and I had never done HIIT sessions before either. I trusted Dean's programme and the results spoke for themselves! |

Dean carried out a physical assessment and a personal interview to figure out my fitness level and from then on, he worked out a tailor-made programme for me with personal targets. He always ensured that the exercises were varied and sometimes fun, albeit being challenging. |
Gabriella SellersDean has a wonderful ability to take his profession seriously, but also base it in reality where it is OK to have a bit of chocolate, or take a day off without it consuming you with guilt. Just get back on the horse again! What I value is someone who has taken the time to get to know me, my goals, and my strengths. He really works on my strengths but challenges me to push myself in areas of weakness. I have reached a number of personal bests which has provided me with a sense of achievement and drive to continue." |
KristenI needed to improve my physical and mental health. He was able to adapt and facilitate sessions in order to help me get the most out of my sessions, especially when the mental side was getting to me. Being able to both work out and talk through issues has been really beneficial for me. Many PTs only focus on the technical and physical aspects of personal training. Dean understands that in order for the body to be fit, the mind has to be fit as well, and is willing to put in the work for a holistic approach that makes for a well-rounded, healthier lifestyle. |
MarikaI chose MindBodyLift because before starting, Dean met me to identify my needs and set up a plan accordingly. I appreciated the initial engagement and the excellent attention to the client! Dean created a program that met my needs and motivates me to challenge myself a bit more every week. |
Rob KI joined to know how to training properly for strength and manage injuries. Dean was recommended by a friend. The exercises varied and if he done extra research to solve a particular problem. It would be introduced in the next session. |
Chris SchofieldI'd seen Dean working with another client and approached him in the gym. Dean assessed where to focus attention, he put together a customised programme to build strength at the right pace according to where I needed it. |
VivianaI wanted to feel stronger and more fit so I talked to Dean and trusted that he would be a great coach. Dean always has the best attitude towards work. He pushes me when I need it, he has taught me how to switch off my mind and trust that my body is capable of much more than I thought! |
Alastair GatehouseI was finding it hard to take short walks because my back would build up with pressure and I would have to rest in between. I heard from a friend about Dean Chambers who worked at MindBodyLift and how he helped, so I gave Dean a try. |
David BuckDean's charisma, knowledge and methods made PT and exceptional experience and it stood out from the generic offering seen in many gyms. The programme was personalised and started with fundamental exercises to improve my strength, agility and endurance and has been gradually been built up over sessions. |
TulsiI spoke with a few trainers before but I knew immediately Dean was the perfect choice. We immediately strike a bond and he understood what my concerns were which sealed the deal. And now he is a friend for a lifetime. |
RajeevAs a forty-something male, with a busy work and family life, working a sedentary job, I knew it was becoming increasingly important to start taking exercise a lot more seriously, before it was too late. |
Sabbir AhmedI wanted to work on a broken arm as well as gain weight and muscle and I heard good reviews about them [Mind Body Lift] and also had a very positive induction. |
